My Go to Makeup Products!

Here’s a list of some of my holy-grail, all time favorite makeup products. I have tested these products for years and they have yet to fail me! Keep in mind I have oily/ combination skin, so these products will work for you too if your skin is similar!

A lot of people think that primer isn’t important and that it doesn’t do much for your skin, but I that’s only because they haven’t found the right one. The one I use is this one by Benefit. It is so good at keep me oil free all day long, but still hydrating my face before applying makeup!the-porefessional-matte-rescue-wwl-1 The POREfessional: Matte Rescue Invisible Finish Mattifying Gel, Sephora $28

My tried and true foundation choice for life is the Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation! The name accurately describes the product… It 100% locks into your skin and does NOT budge. It’s also pretty full coverage and can actually cover tattoos. So, you only want to use a little pump of it for everyday wear. Also, there is a wide range of colors so you won’t have an issue finding your shade.images

I have used several different concealers and the one that I have found gives me the best coverage and doesn’t crease is the LA Girl HD Pro Concealer. Here’s the best part….It is only $3.50! You can’t go wrong with this concealer.

Setting Powder

My all time favorite setting powder actually comes from Wal-Mart! Its actually a translucent powder and I have used this stuff for years and truthfully it’s because I love a good loose powder because I feel like it melts into your skin to prevent you from looking caky. 🙂

Setting Spray

Despite popular belief, setting spray does make a world of a difference! My favorite comes from Urban Decay.  Its the De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray. If Oil Control isn’t your problem, I got you covered. UD also came out with an “All Nighter” and “Hydrating” formula for their setting spray so that no matter what skin type you have, you’ll be taken care of.

I feel like mascara goes forgotten due to the eyelash extension popularity. However I am a mascara loving girl! My favorite mascara since middle school has been by Maybelline and its the Falsies Volum’ Express Mascara in Blackest Black. You can find this one at Target. If you want something more high end, another favorite is the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara!

Keep your eyebrows ON FLEEK with this classic. My favorite eyebrow pencil to use is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the shade Ebony.

My signature with makeup is my winged eyeliner. I think it honestly makes me feel complete when I leave the house with a nice winged eyeliner! I’ve tried a couple over the years but the one I have been loving recently is this one by NYX.

I am a huge Kylie Jenner Lip Kit fan! From her matte lipsticks to her glosses, you can’t go wrong. It is worth the hype! My all time favorite from her line is a gloss!

  1. I did not know Benefit had this matte rescue primer! I have the original one that works great for my pores but not keeping my oils under control. Also I need to try the NYC Setting Powder! I have a pressed powder from them and it works amazing. Beautiful post and all these products sound incredible!
