I struggled in high school because I could never stay organized! I never wrote anything down, I just hoped I’d remember all of my due dates. Once I got into college, I needed a different game plan because there are more things to remember! I spent the summer before freshman year exploring different ways to stay organized, and I found the way that works best for me! I’m going to share it with you, but I highly recommend researching which way could work the best for you! Stay tuned for the giveaway at the end!
Tip #1: Get a planner
Seriously, my planner saved my life sooo many times this past school year! It’s small enough to keep in your backpack, so you’ll always have it with you to write down important dates!
Tip #2: Invest in a whiteboard
I actually found out how useful this could be once I got into college. A couple of my friends had whiteboards in their dorms and I thought it was genius! If you’re a visual person like me, then this will really help!
Tip #3: Use different colors to represent each class
I am super visual, so the variation of colors helps me to stay organized and remember things. In your planner, use a certain color pen to represent a certain class. Then, use the same color dry erase marker to represent that same class on your white board. This helps with continuity and I promise you will feel so organized and prepared for anything!
